Phil’s first show was as a Boy Scout performing magic to win the much coveted Entertainers badge. He became hooked on magic and carried on this obsession into his teens when he joined “The Demon Club” a magic club for youngsters that met every Saturday afternoon at the famous Davenports Magic Shop in London. He also joined a weekly juggling workshop near Hampton Court, where jugglers of all ages and abilities met up and practiced together. While at school he worked for “Marvins Magic” at weekends and holidays, demonstrating magic in Harrods, Selfridges and Hamleys in London. On leaving school he was a Butlins Redcoat for two years, toured the island of Jersey in a production show and then worked as a street entertainer at Chessington World of Adventures. He became a member of The Magic Circle and trained at Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre. Over the last two decades Phil has performed in cabaret at holiday centres, in hotels and onboard luxury cruise ships. He also worked extensively in the corporate sector performing shows and walkabout entertainment, and running workshops. Phil featured in “Elle” magazine levitating a model in a fashion shoot and in a television commercial as a singing fire juggler!
